What We Do

The Cass County Wildlife Club was established to create a collaborative environment where sportsmen and wildlife conservationists come together with a unified purpose: to advance the preservation, protection, and sustainable management of North Dakota’s diverse wildlife. By fostering a space where like-minded individuals can engage in organized efforts, we ensure that our collective knowledge, skills, and passion are harnessed to safeguard the natural beauty and wildlife resources of the state.

Beyond offering a meeting ground, our club is instrumental in driving forward various hands-on initiatives. We provide spaces where community members can safely practice their skills, such as our rifle and trap ranges, which promote both recreational use and responsible handling of firearms.

Through our sponsorship and support of hunter safety programs, we emphasize the critical importance of educating the public—not just about the technical aspects of hunting, but also the ethical responsibilities that come with it. Our youth projects ensure that future generations understand the value of wildlife conservation and outdoor activities, cultivating a deep respect for nature from a young age.

We also take an active role in influencing policy by supporting a full-time lobbyist, ensuring that the needs and concerns of our community are represented at the legislative level. This holistic approach allows us to protect wildlife and promote outdoor recreation, ensuring these resources are available for future generations.
